Rosita Dameri is an international model and was born in Surinam. Currently she lives in Amsterdam and writes exclusively for the leadership-company blog. Her creed is: Models are the best sellers! Who doesn’t convince on the catwalk or during foto-shootings won’t be contracted again and doesn’t earn money.

Eure

Rosita

2. Don’t be a Product-zombie!

As it is with each and every successful seller, models must be really convinced of all the products and services they represent. Out of my own experience, it is really hard work to find out who you are and which products fit to your style and attitude.

Very often I experienced models who became product-zombies by evaluating products and services only by looking after the money behind it. At the beginning, everything works out fine. But rather sooner than later a special frustration is seen on the catwalk and before the camera.

Company-owners or responsible manager of the booking companies can see it clearly and re-book only models, who are inspired by their products. Only inspiration and authentic behaviour sends that special feeling, which sells the products and services. Good managers know that! My advice to you: Ask yourself if you can really stand behind the represented goods and sell them authentically. If you can’t, change to other products!°

Think of it and send me some feed-back. Ich always enjoy each new experience, which I can share with you!

Yours truly

Rosita
